The redevelopment of the former "Polgal" Technical and Luxury Goods Factory into a modern apartment building is one of the first large-scale loft projects in Częstochowa. The ongoing revitalization of the Old Town district, the construction of the "Galeria Jurajska" shopping center, and the city's plans to restore the former charm of this picturesque district have directed our company's development vision to this location.
We are motivated by the numerous successes of loft projects completed in Łódź and Upper Silesia. Many industrial buildings in these urban areas have been given new life as residential buildings, office spaces, or shopping centers, becoming new symbols of the cities.
The design for the redevelopment of the building, known as the "Button Factory," was created by the Warsaw-based architectural firm ADC Architekci. The total area of the apartments will be 6145m2, with garages and storage rooms on the ground floor, and 138 apartments ranging in size from 28m2 to 78m2 on the upper floors. The advantages of the apartments being created as part of this project include large windows and a very high ceiling height (approximately 320 cm), which, combined with the high load-bearing capacity of the floors, allows for the creation of mezzanines and the free construction of partition walls. Beautiful views can be enjoyed from the upper floors.
Thanks to its location in the city center and the height of the building (an architectural landmark), residents can enjoy nearly a full panoramic view of the city from their windows. Depending on the orientation of the apartment, one can see, among other things, the Shrine of Our Lady of Jasna Góra, the Castle in Olsztyn, the Basilica of the Holy Family, and many other important landmarks in Częstochowa.
