Time has filled the empty space on the street. It has filled the gap left by the old building that once stood here. In a natural, dignified and elegant way. Just as it should be.
The silhouette of Chronos complementing the facade introduces an ordered rhythm. The regular division of the elevation reflects the former dignity of this part of the city. The slightly recessed upper floors maintain the natural line of the facade, while the distinct separation of the first two floors reflects the style of typical Warsaw tenements.
Tempo changes
The corner building continues the idea behind the modernist aesthetic of the neighboring apartment building, yet it serves as its counterbalance.
Gradually, the varied texture of its elevation calms down and creates a three-dimensional effect due to the play of shadows. The stonework division mutes the clear differences in planes and emphasizes the contrast between different textures. The last floor of the building is recessed relative to the lower levels, and horizontal accents soften the rhythm of the divisions.
Chronos Apartments on Warsaw's Wola offer timeless elegance in an attractive business location, where every minute counts. The cleanliness and modern aesthetics of the building with a facade made of stone over 145 million years old. An architecture whose brilliance does not fade. A taste that remains eternally current. In the new building at the corner of Solidarności and Żelazna, we have designed 108 apartments ranging from 30 to 140 square meters – including 90 one-level units and 18 two-level units.
