A new dimension of investment is offered by Scala. Instead of developer-ready properties, the units are finished to a higher standard in Model M – modern style, ready for occupancy.
The apartments are finished to a higher standard, which means that upon delivery, the apartment will have smooth and painted walls, laid floors, mounted doors, completed bathroom and kitchen.
This shortens the time from delivery to occupation, saves time and nerves, reduces the inconvenience of long-term neighboring renovations, and provides a quick return on investment, in case of purchase for rent.
The finishing is available in three timeless styles, designed to complement a full range of arrangements.
In the neighborhood, green walkways will be created, with rich plant arrangements reminiscent of old inner-city gardens. Over 4500 new plants will create beautiful green surroundings between buildings. Among them will be noble species that historically adorned the streets of Gdańsk.
The ground floor is characterized by a typical elevation of Gdansk's inner-city houses, raised and protruding beyond the building outline, creating a terrace with balustrade. Inspired by this architectural element, private gardens for the apartments Scala were created, which were appreciated by Gdansk citizens in the 18th and 19th centuries for their privacy and lush greenery. Separated by a plinth from the pedestrian and roadway green areas, it is a return to the tradition of city gardens in this location.
The top floor has been recessed relative to the building facade, the walls have been covered with climbing ivy, providing a higher sense of privacy and space for arranging green terraces.
Colorful narrow houses, warehouses, towers, churches, imposing brick buildings. The architecture of Scala is full of modern interpretations of historical inner-city architecture. The facade covered with high-class ceramics gives a typical Gdansk brick character to the historic buildings. Contemporary design creatively explores historical styles of Gdansk architecture.
Details such as balconies, terraces on the highest floors and underground levels protruding above the ground level add character. Each Scala building has its own unique way of handling architectural detail.
